Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire, encourage and equip students from our local schools to discover the difference Jesus can make to the challenges and adventures of life by using Biblical principles as a foundation of education and our mission is to develop young children into powerful thinkers and problem-solvers by working closely with teachers to provide assistance in life skills. In an ever-increasing technology and data driven world, we have noticed that children struggle with expressing their emotions and dealing with peer pressure.

Life skills provide children with important tools for development, such as independent thinking, how to socialize and make new friends, and how to take action in situations where their parents or teachers may not be around to intervene (dealing with a bully or personal insecurities/fears).

Topics we Discuss

  • Identifying personal strength and weaknesses

  • Respect for your own and others bodies

  • Dealing with conflict

  • Self-Image

  • Puberty-physical and emotional changes

  • Substance Abuse and more

Our Story

Using Hlanganani Preparatory as our model school, we were able to develop a structured program that we could introduce into other schools. We are so excited to start our program in 2023 at Hlanganani Preparatory School, Merlewood Primary School and R.A. Engar Primary School. All three schools are in the heart of their communities (Mkholombe, Merlewood and Marburg) combatting crime, poverty, substance abuse ad GBV.

As our ministry grows, we’re hoping for more international and local volunteers to join so we can reach other schools in the community. We hope in the near future, we can host team building and leadership camps to empower our future leaders. To conclude, we have been given a platform to invest in the young lives of our children in the community. We should never lose focus that Jesus is the centre of everything that we do and his love should reflect through everything we do.
